Following Tuesday's election results, it might be good to ltake a glance back at what we had left behind by electing Obama president two years ago.
It seems that former president Bush is declaring in his memoirs that he directly authorized the use of waterboarding - and that he'd gladly do it again if he had to.
Of course, he doesn't consider it torture, he says. That puts him at odds with most of the rest of the world (not an unfamiliar position for the Bush administration, if you remember).
It's interesting to note what Bush recently said was the low point of his presidency: not Sept. 11; not the day he sent our troops off to war; not the day the stock market collapsed, triggering the economic hell we're still struggling to break from; no, the worst day of his 8 years in office was when Kanye West called him a racist on national TV.
